Ibis in Flight, Bear River, Great Salt Lake

$1,000.00

I couldn’t believe my luck with the skies that morning as I set out to explore Bear River Bird Refuge. As I stopped to capture the gorgeous scenery in front of me, I was greeted by a large arc of White Faced Ibises in flight. Early visitors to this refuge stated that the sounds from the birds were so loud they resembled jet engines; today, we’re lucky if we hear the Tundra Swans calling in the distance. We need to take care and not litter near wetlands, White-faced Ibises sometimes incorporate human-made objects they've found, including cigarette lighters, empty shotgun shells, plastic dolls, and hair combs.

21” x 36” (Horizontal Format) Archival Pigment Print on Pearl Paper - Framed.

All Sales Final. Print on demand - add five business days for printing. Free Insured shipping.

The watermark is not on the final image but includes the artist’s signature.

Feel free to contact me for more information or a different size to fit your needs.
