Snow Geese, Three is not a Crowd, Delta, Utah
It seems quite sudden when a few of the Snow Geese take to flight to join another group. Watching for signs that they are going to take off has been difficult for me to identify. If they all take off at once it is either at the end of their day on the field or water, or there is a bird of prey approaching. The beauty of birds in flight with a soft landscape behind them has always been a love of mine.
