Virginia Rail, Morning Reflection
The Virginia Rails are very secretive and difficult to photograph. I was sitting on the ground patiently waiting for one to come out of the reeds and I was rewarded with my patience. Because I didn’t move much and was very quiet, this rail seemed just fine for the few minutes it was looking for food.
